I am learning more and more to fully appreciate a good day when it presents itself. And to stay open to possibilities.
Last week I went to Sally’s to take pictures of the horses. I have been having horse images come to me and synchronicities with them also, so wanted to just go be with them and create a bit with them. I was shocked when KB actually came up to the fence and acknowledged me—even wanted to interact with me!! In all my years of knowing him and feeding him when Sally’s gone he has rarely ever deigned to acknowledge me at all, except to bump me on his way to get his grain maybe. So perhaps he was picking up on my horse energy. He was making funny faces at me
and making me laugh. Sally was just rolling her eyes and saying “yeah, well don’t turn your back on him”. Next I went to Sabrina’s pen==she is so sweet, her face matches her personality. It was nice just to be in her presence awhile.

Sally was unloading stuff from her truck and I thought how beautiful she looked in her flannel shirt and boots and old jeans and gloves. Somehow just perfect as she is, like the horses. Of course she wouldn’t let me take her picture. I said “ I knew you wouldn’t” , but what I wanted to tell her was how beautiful she looked. I knew it would make her uncomfortable probably. I wish we could just say that stuff more easily.
As I started to go back to my car, I noticed the purple berries glowing against the warm brick of Sally’s house.
I
Everything spoke to me in beauty==the big gnarled trees, the lane disappearing into shadows, the wrens singing, the sea grass glowing spirals.

I slowed waaaaaaaaaaaaay down, and just started taking photos. A couple hours slipped by before I knew it.
Even as I drove back down the lane, it didn’t stop. The field grasses were shining–coppery waves.
~~~~~~And a cat bird eating berries caught my eye.
And hanging right there at the top of my own lane was the moon, smack dab in the middle of a blue sky.
I felt as nourished and permeable as I have in quite some time. And as I drifted that night while reading my book, my lamp continued the magic as it floated through the woods, or so it seemed, reflected in my window.
